| Meet the Team

Dan is a Chartered Surveyor and Project Manager with over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, having held a number of senior roles in different disciplines across the North West. Dan is skilled in managing multiple stakeholders and delivering complex, high value projects on programme and within budget. Dan is experienced in procurement and project delivery, coupled with a strong background in commercial management. An excellent communicator who understands the need to establish an effective team and develop positive relationships.

With varied industry roles, Darren has over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry. As a Quantity Surveyor his practical experience leads to a great knowledge of construction techniques.  He has an extensive background in the commercial management of high value construction projects as well as pre-contract cost planning.  As an excellent communicator, Darren will work to develop a positive relationship with all parties and will interrogate all commercial aspects of the project to ensure best value.

John has over 35 years in the industry and has extensive experience in cost management of commercial construction projects, with a particular focus on pre contract cost planning, design management and procurement.  John is skilled in managing multiple stakeholders and delivering complex, high value projects on programme and within budget. His experience in procurement and project delivery, coupled with a strong background in commercial management, position him ideally to lead pre contract cost planning processes.

Leanne has extensive administration experience, gained over 35 years in multiple industries.  As well as providing office support to the GCL team, Leanne takes ownership of quality assurance processes and document control to ensure the management and structure of the service is in accordance with the company’s Quality Management Systems.

These charities are close to our hearts and provide essential services for young people across the communities they serve. Community

As a Chorley based company, we strive to engage with young people in our community via our local secondary school, Parklands Academy. Our team work closely with the Parklands Careers Lead supporting mock interviews, work experience and careers fairs to promote the construction industry. We are also committed to delivering social value benefits on a project specific basis.
